About
My name is Jonathan Mefferd and I am a property tax consultant and licensed Attorney with over 20 years of corporate in-house and General Counsel experience; as well as a former real estate agent. I received my degree from the University of Houston and my Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law.
I moved to Galveston Island in 2014 with my wife to live and raise our 3 children. In addition to my home on the West End, we own a rental property business, IBC Interests, LLC, specializing in Galveston rental properties.
As an “Islander by Choice”, I have a vested interest in managing property taxes in our area. I founded Mefferd & Associates, P.C. based on the needs of local residents and business owners seeking to receive property tax reductions in Galveston County, Harris County and the surrounding counties. Our goal is to help you obtain a fair real estate valuation and reduce your property taxes.
